Cleaning Rabbit’s daily Eye Dirt

Bunnies, like humans, get eye dirt daily. Its our natural way of removing debris in the eye. Some may have more than others. Most times rabbits will wipe it away with their furry paws when cleaning their face. but many times fur gets stuck to the eyeball like this.

One of the ways u can help to remove eye debris, is using a cotton pad or cotton swab. Use the sides of the cotton to clean, not the tip to poke. See picture below. Use a wiping motion left to right to clean. Like a car screen wiper.

If that still fails, just cup their face in your 2 hands, facing you, and use the ball of your thumb to gently rub it across the eyeball
